Aurel and Rebeca have pastored the Evangelical Christian Church of Arganda in Madrid, Spain, for nine years. Since they began applying renewal practices, their church has almost doubled in size.

Aurel:

"It was a difficult time for our church before we joined Church Renewal mentoring. We were stuck. We felt like we were wandering in the desert, like the people of Israel. We didn’t have clear direction, a goal, a vision, or tools.

But Church Renewal mentoring has changed my life and our church. We’ve learned how to hear God’s voice and how to grow in godly character. We now have practical tools — like SMORP and STAR — to equip the congregation, and God is guiding us to carry out His vision and purpose for the Church."

Rebeca:

"At first, Aurel joined the mentoring and would tell me what he had learned after each class. Seeing the changes in his life, I decided to join too, so we could continue moving forward together with the same direction and vision."

Aurel:

"This has marked a clear before and after in our church. We now understand our focus and calling, and we’re growing — both personally and as a church — with more people willing to serve. Since we began implementing the principles of renewal, our church has grown from 40 to 70 people in just a couple of years."
