We added a Bible reader to this version.

• Most open license translations are available to choose from.
• The currently selected Bible is always stored offline.
• Clicking on a verse in the content will give you the option to view the passage in the built in Bible reader or on YouVersion.
• When the app is not installed the login screen will give you options to download from the app stores.

• The Discipler and Church roles can now download PDFs of the modules from the "Disciple Others" page. These documents are generated on the server and are always current with the content that is in the app.

Churches that opt in now have access to additional features

• Ability to link people to their church, including people who have already signed up for TheWay.
• See progress and unlock modules for anyone linked to their church.
• Ability to set their small group leaders as "Disciplers". Disciplers can:
  • Link people to themselves
  • See progress and unlock modules for people under them
  • All modules are automatically unlocked for Disciplers
  • Access additional Discipling Resources on the Tools screen

Additional visibility and control over your data

• People can now see who they are linked to and what data is shared on the Profile page, along with the ability to unlink from people.
• When someone clicks a Discipler link, a message is now shown detailing what data will be shared along with ability to accept or deny.

V1.8 - September 30, 2022

• Separated "Settings" and into "About" and "Profile" to support future features.
• A new resource call "Discipling Others Through TheWay" has been added to the tools tab. This will be available to church leaders as well as "Public" users who have opted in via the share page (see below).
• There is a new share experience for users not linked to a church (Public user role).
  • Once "Abide in Christ" and "Grow Character" modules are complete, they will be able to opt into additional features which will help them to disciple others in TheWay.
  • They will have access to the new "Discipling Others Through TheWay" guide mentioned above as well as any other future discipling related resources and tools.

V1.7 - August 12, 2022

Anyone can now sign up for TheWay

• People who visit https://theway.app will now be able to sign up without an invite link.
• If you don't already have an invite link to share with others, tapping "Share TheWay" in the menu will share a link to https://theway.app.
• The invite link system remains in place, but will be utilized for future features geared toward equipping churches.

• Select some text to add highlights or notes.
• Edit existing items by tapping on them.
• See all of your notes & highlights on the Notes tab.
• Sort your highlights by date or module.
